We are very proud to add the Pangolin Crisis Fund to PoachingFacts’ list of Conservation Groups worth supporting. While this organization does not itself operate on the front-line, which deviates from PoachingFacts’ goal for the list, it is the only organization specifically focused on pangolin conservation and anti-trafficking programs and the entirety of donations go towards those goals. Absolutely none of the Pangolin Crisis Fund’s administrative costs and overhead come from public donations or funds. The Pangolin Crisis Fund, which is affiliated with Save Pangolins and Wildlife Conservation Network, is the best way to support far-reaching pangolin conservation projects worldwide with the maximum impact.
Formed in 2019 to address the needs of the world’s most trafficked mammal, the organization addresses needs outlined by the IUCN SSC Pangolin Specialist Group. It supports dozens of projects focused on reducing demand, combatting trafficking at all levels, supporting research, raising awareness and working with local communities, and supporting enforcement of anti-trafficking laws for all eight species of pangolins. The PCF has zero administrative fees or overhead, meaning that all of the donations go towards supporting projects that make a real impact. Pangolin Crisis Fund is partnered with Wildlife Conservation Network’s WildNet, which handles donation processing. Tax-deductible in the United States.
